We are pleased to present to you the behind-the-scenes of our custom-built truck simulator SIM83-TS01, developed by Sim 83 – driving simulators for training and assessment of professional truck and bus drivers. This will travel to India after completion.
This is the first post in a short series that will document the development of the simulator from start to finish.
In the photo below, you can see the starting point: unpacking the components that were sourced from suppliers around the world. Each part is carefully arranged and stored until it is ready for installation. Currently, about half of all the necessary parts are on the shelves. The final assembly will include approximately 100 unique components – some are widely available, others were developed in-house and cannot be found on the market.
The next task is to assemble the main frame, which is the backbone of the entire simulator.
