Last week, we reached a significant milestone at SIM83 – we officially launched our revamped product page. For us, this is not just a list of equipment, but a manifesto of our vision of what a simulator truly is. At SIM83, it’s not just about assembling components into a neat chassis; it’s about precision engineering, where every component, from a screw to a software algorithm, serves a purpose. Whether you’re a professional esports athlete looking for that final fraction of a second, or a company seeking to train its lorry drivers safely and effectively, our product range offers solutions grounded in reality.
The world of simulation has changed dramatically in recent years. Technology that was once reserved solely for military flight simulators or Formula 1 teams is now, thanks to our partnership with leading manufacturers, available to a wider range of users. Our philosophy is based on integrating proven hardware into systems that are stable, responsive and, above all, realistic. Below, we will explore the SIM83-MS06, SIM83-TS01 and SIM83-TS03 models in detail and reveal why we chose these specific components.
SIM83-MS06: A racing machine and educational tool in one
The SIM83-MS06 is our most versatile simulator, designed with a dual purpose in mind. On the one hand, it is an uncompromising racing beast; on the other, it is an exceptionally precise tool for driver training and understanding vehicle physics. To achieve this level of flexibility, we have developed it in two key configurations, which differ in the feedback the driver receives via the steering wheel and pedals.
For those seeking the pinnacle of the racing experience, we equip the MS06 with the Fanatec Podium DD2. This is a direct-drive base which, with its raw power and precision, allows the driver to feel every bump on the track and the slightest loss of grip. In this configuration, we use Fanatec CSL Elite V2 pedals with ‘load cell’ technology on the brake. Unlike standard pedals, which measure pedal travel, the load cell measures actual pressure, enabling the development of muscle memory, which is crucial for consistent braking in stressful race situations.
When the MS06 is used for training purposes, we adapt the configuration to make it more accessible, yet still technically sophisticated. This is where the Fanatec ClubSport DD (8nm) base comes in, combined with Fanatec V3 Inverted pedals. The inverted pedal design offers a feel identical to that found in modern passenger cars or GT racing cars, where the pedals are mounted at the top. This is crucial for driving schools and safe driving training, as the sensation is directly transferred from the simulator to a real vehicle.
The heart of the MS06 model, however, is its motion platform. We use a heavily modified DOF Reality P6 chassis. We have upgraded the standard platform in our workshops to handle heavier loads and offer faster response times. With six degrees of freedom (6 DOF), the simulator not only simulates body roll in corners, but also vertical accelerations, rear-end slip and even the texture of kerbs.

SIM83-TS01 and SIM83-TS03: Professional truck simulators
Logistics and transport are the backbone of the economy, which is why we have paid special attention to the TS01 and TS03 models. Truck simulation requires a completely different approach to sim racing. Here, it is not cornering speed that matters, but weight management, anticipating traffic and the correct use of the control levers.
Both models are based on the Moza R9 V3 base. Moza Racing has proven to be exceptionally reliable under prolonged loads, which is essential in the world of logistics training. To make the experience as close to reality as possible, we have fitted this base with dedicated Moza Truck steering wheel rims and ‘multistalks’ – multi-function paddles on the steering wheel. These allow the driver to control the indicators, windscreen wipers and engine brake without taking their hands off the wheel, which is standard in modern lorries such as Scania, Volvo or MAN.
We also rely on the Fanatec ClubSport Pedals V3 Inverted for our truck models. The vertical pedal layout is standard in the world of heavy machinery, as it offers better ergonomics during long-haul driving. Our integration of these pedals into the TS series ensures that drivers develop the correct feel for throttle and brake modulation when the vehicle is fully loaded.

Customised flexibility: Your vision, our execution
Although our standard models are the result of years of testing, we recognise that every user has their own specific requirements. SSIM83 is not just a supplier; we are partners in your project. In our Shop section, you will find a selection of renowned brands that we can incorporate into your unique configuration.
When building bespoke simulators, we frequently use equipment from the following manufacturers:
- Simagic: Their direct-drive systems and hydraulic pedals are ideal for those seeking industrial durability and a raw mechanical feel.
- Asetek SimSports: Their innovative Invicta braking technology offers perhaps the best feel of a hard brake pedal on the market.
- Next Level Racing: An excellent choice for rigid cockpits and accessories that allow for modular expansion of your system.
- Cube Controls: If you want a steering wheel used in real GT3 race cars, these handcrafted wheels from Italy are the right choice.
Every simulator that leaves our workshop is calibrated for specific software. Whether you use iRacing for competitions, Euro Truck Simulator 2 for relaxation, or specialised software for driving instruction and road safety, we ensure that the hardware communicates with the software without any lag.
Why is high-quality equipment crucial?
Many people wonder whether such a high level of technology is really necessary for “playing games”. The answer is simple: in a professional environment, these are not games. Research on haptic feedback shows that the human brain needs precise stimuli to develop actual skills. If the steering wheel does not provide the correct information about when the car is understeering, the driver will not learn to react correctly.
With the SIM83, using Fanatec and Moza components, we ensure a high level of fidelity. When we add the movement of our modified DOF Reality platform to this, we get an environment where the body reacts instinctively. That is the difference that turns a simulator into a trainer. You can view our full range on our Products page.
Conclusion
The launch of our new product page is just the beginning of a new chapter for us. Our goal remains the same: to offer our customers simulators that are not only visually appealing but also technically sophisticated. From the SIM83-MS06 model, which blurs the lines between gaming and reality, to the TS series, which sets the standard in logistics training – SIM83 is your gateway to the world of cutting-edge simulation.
